Chopped Strand Mat

A staple of the composites industry, chopped strand mat (or CSM as it is known) is widely used in mould making and the production of large GRP mouldings such as boat hulls. Regular chopped strand mat for use with polyester resin systems is available from just about any composites supplier and varies little in terms of price and quality.

As an advanced composites supplier, Easy Composites only stocks powder bound chopped strand mat for use with epoxy resin and water based resin systems as would be used in the production of epoxy moulds suitable for the production of higher performance epoxy parts.
