Further Expansion at Easy Composites’ UK Site

Following the successful expansion of Easy Composites into Europe in 2021 with the opening of our 20,000sqft Netherlands distribution centre, late 2022 sees the start of further expansion of the business with the development of new dedicated fulfilment centre at our main site in Stoke on Trent, UK.

The new 15,000sqft building will increase the size of the Stoke-on-Trent site to over 35,000sqft, splitting operations into separate buildings for training and R&D, manufacturing, and fulfilment.

Easy Composites already has the largest stockholding of full-spectrum composite materials and equipment in the UK, with over £2M of stock on the shelf at any time. Moving fulfilment operations into the new building will provide much needed space for further expansion of our range and additional stockholding to meet customer demand for next-day delivery on a complete range of materials and equipment for advanced composites.

The move will also allow Easy Composites’ manufacturing operations to fully occupy our original building, with carbon fibre sheet production capacity set to double, as well as new product lines including several new oven products, control electronics and ultrasonic systems set to be manufactured at our Stoke-on-Trent site.

Customers visiting Easy Composites during the expansion are advised to pay extra attention to new signage around the site and should be aware that customer collections will soon move to the new building, along with some other changes to our counter sales and click & collect services.
