Vacuum Bagging Film

Vacuum bagging film is the universal vacuum bagging consumable used in all composites vacuum bagging processes including vacuum bagging of wet-lay laminates, vacuum bonding, resin infusion and prepreg curing.

A good vacuum bagging film combines high strength and puncture resistance with easy handling, good conformability and - above all - excellent quality control and reliability.

At Easy Composites we carry two vacuum bagging films, Aerofilm® VB160 and VB200. Both are European manufactured, multi-layer nylon films well known for their excellent performance and reliability. VB160 is our most popular vacuum bagging film and recommended for most applications including ambient temperature vacuum bagging, resin infusion and prepreg use (OOA and autoclave cure) up to 160°C. Aerofilm® VB200 a higher strength film with a 200°C service temperature and is recommended for higher temperature autoclave cures and use in glass lamination.

Our vacuum bagging films are 1520mm wide and in an LFT (lay flat tube) format. They are sold by the linear metre (a SQM equivalent price is also shown) or in full roll quantities for unbeatable pricing.
