New Facility Provides UK's Largest CFRP Sheet Capacity

Things are going from strength to strength at Easy Composites in Staffordshire, leading to the opening of a brand-new manufacturing unit. The new unit is equipped with a bespoke composite sheet production line and assembly lines for our growing range of vacuum equipment and ovens.

By manufacturing in-house Easy Composites can supply the highest quality prepreg carbon fibre sheet for the best prices! This winning combination has won Easy Composites ongoing contracts with some of the biggest names in engineering, technology and motor-sport.

The single and double A-side high strength carbon fibre sheet produced by Easy Composites is made using a sophisticated manufacturing process and facilities, meaning that Easy Composites can produce carbon fibre or composite sheet to almost any specification using 100% carbon fibre reinforcement and epoxy resin matrix, cured under pressure at elevated temperatures to produce carbon fibre sheet with engineering-grade mechanical properties and a class-A surface finish.

Easy Composites' carbon fibre sheet is manufactured by the highly trained manufacturing team on site using the extensive flat sheet facilities including a 600mm x 600mm heated platen press and several 2m x 1m vacuum presses. This allows manufacturing of a range of different specification carbon fibre sheets to the highest standards. Our production facilities mean we can manufacture prepreg carbon fibre or hybrid composite sheet to just about any specification, often with little or no setup cost.
