PP180 is an economical polyester peel ply suitable for vacuum bagging of wet-lay laminates, peel ply resin infusion and hand-layup applications. It is compatible with a wide range of resin systems including epoxy, polyester and vinylester.
Polyester peel ply offers a lower cost alternative to our aerospace-grade nylon-66 peel ply and is suitable for most applications. The main differences being that polyester peel-ply has a lower temperature tolerance than nylon and also that some resins will bond slightly more to polyester than they will to nylon-66, making the nylon-66 peel ply slightly easier to remove.
PP180 is a tightly woven white fabric with black 'tracer' lines, still visible after wet-out, to reduce the risk of the peel ply being accidentally left on the cured laminate.

How to Buy
This peel-ply is available to buy in a folded 5lm pack, by the linear metre (10lm+) or in wholesale 100lm rolls. Please choose how you would like to purchase from the drop-down list above.
The material itself is 1.52m wide meaning that each linear metre is equal to 1.52sqm.
The 1.52m width of the peel-ply means that (except for the folded pack) it is supplied in a 160cm long box. Please be aware that this 'oversize' package can result in higher transport costs for some international destinations. The 5m pack is folded into a small package which avoids this 'oversize' charge.
We believe we offer unbeatable prices on vacuum bagging consumables. To make comparisons easy, select the different pack/roll sizes from the drop down menu above:
Further Information
Typical Use
Peel ply is most commonly used to create a textured surface on a laminate ideal for secondary laminating/bonding or to act as a porous, removable barrier between the laminate and other bagging consumables for processes such as resin infusion.
Being a porous layer, peel ply allows the vacuum to bleed trapped air and volatiles out of the laminate and so finds applications in wet-lay vacuum bagging, resin infusion and some prepreg laminating.
