Semi flexible backing plate for use with Pai Cristal's range of foam polishing pads and other polishing pads which use a 125mm Velcro interface.
The backing plate has a standard M14 female thread and so works with almost all makes and models of power polishing machine. It has a strong Velcro surface which interfaces with the Velcro surface on the reverse side of the polishing pad.
The 125mm diameter backing plate is an exact match for the 125mm diameter Velcro interface on the Pai Cristal polishing pads making it easier to centre the pad correctly and therefore avoid irritating vibration caused by off-centre pad alignment.
