Casting Resins

Our range of resin systems designed as, or suitable for use casting resins. Casting resins are typically intended to be used without reinforcement; they are most commonly poured into mould, typically made from RTV silicone rubber and used to create solid plastic reproduction components but they can also be used to fill gaps or cavities in wood and other materials and for electrical potting.

The properties of casting resins can be modified with the addition of various filler powders and additives, colour pigments and even metal powders.

Our selection of casting resins includes polyurethane and epoxy resins in fast-cast, general-purpose, water clear and flexible systems. For general casting of small to medium figures and objects, our Xencast P2 fast-cast is an excellent all-rounder.
